They came in droves and were relentless. It was just a matter of chance where you happened to be when they did their worst but for some, the constant threat was normal, even exciting. Two retired fisherman in Hastings, a small coastal town in the south east of England tell us all about it with the aid of archive footage and genuine ariel and ground stills of the town.
