I really hope that current won't deteriorate to cheap sexual pods to attract viewers... I have nothing against sex and have it on internet, I just got the impression that current is about a different kind of revolution.

I like the vid and all....but doesn't Current suggest uploading webcam vids too?

The idea of revolution is good, but that hinges on all aspects of the real world...the reality here is just how absurd certain aspects of the real world can get...so much so certain individuals want to make their world into their own little reality show...
How absurd is that..?

Although the vid is funny, Playboy contest is shallow stuff. current has potential to be an alternative to mainstream crap entertainment and offer grassroots, creative, eye-opening, original, liberal, authentic, non-biased content. Almost every news and social platform uses some sexual content to draw attention (and, yes, its fun), but there are many other more intelligent and subtle ways to do it than just put on the same old Playboy allure.
-
It certainly point out the critical shortage of training doesn't it?
With so many contests out there, it only points out that there is a crying need for the skills of video production.
Even though Current does have some fine tutorials on how to make good pods, how many have used them? -
I gotta give it to Best Western, 80s styled water coolers is a pretty cool idea. ;-)

I am 55 years old. I am a Christian and believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. I am very happy about Mr. Heffner, Saint Hugh, as a full man of intellect. Once a person takes the mind they get the body. Mr. Heffner articulated an adult view of sexuality beginning in 1953 that attempted to realistically discuss an almost unknown topic. Sexuality had a huge absence of authority for both men and women before Hugh Heffner added to the American Archetype the consensual side of sex. Sex is the least of sin and in true dialogue offered both words in the form of most every writer of significance has his writing on the backs of the women in his magazine, so some definite form of insurance policy is agreeable to his adult forum. Also, can you imagine a world like we have now with extreme computer accuracy over people that had been removed from the freedoms of expression and the pursuit of happiness – we hold these rights self evident. What government has ever run what happens behind closed doors – and Mr. Heffner put a high priority on natural pleasure that the Puritan dilemma had added to the Peculiar Institution of American wage and work that either has a day in sophistication or is a work at all times of government art or art for government. I know what art is and it is not all pornographic. Hugh Heffner gets my Citizenship of the Century award for truly answering the good fight.
What really gets me is when people die we honor them, when do we start putting that energy into the living and let the dead bury the dead?

ya baby, more women showing off their tits... Maybe this is what's needed in the middle east...
-
Great...one more thing America can be proud of.
And people wonder why Americans are seen the way they are in the international community. It's because of situations like these we expose our youth to.-

In my experience, people see Hollywood completely different than America.
I've had people from a lot of places thell me they hate what America has done but when I tell them I'm from California, tell me they love Hollywood and ask about celebrities.
Maybe participation in more contests such as these will help with a greater appreciation of video making techniques and spread more respect for what is involved throughout the world?
I was suprised at the quality of some of the entries for the Playboy contest since I didn't think you could do that much for that kind of thing on YouTube. -
People don't even have food or clean water in the very cities people are making these videos, much less in un developed countries, and THIS is what people are doing with their time. Wow.
