Following the controversial Zimbabwean elections, the crucial date for the run-off vote has been announced as 27th June with Robert Mugabe admitting for the first time since the March 29th election that it had been a disaster.
Although the presidential result did not yield an outright winner, it was indeed disastrous," Mr Mugabe told a meeting of Zanu PF in the country's capital, Haare.

Hopefully this admission from Mugabe might bring some small comfort to those allegedly injured by his violent minions. Meanwhile Tsvangirai, leader of the opposition MDC, is set to return home to contest the run-off election. Check the link for Al Jazeera's breakdown of the latest in Zimbabwe.
