Courtesy of Eric Idle and Neil Innes' semi-brilliant, "Rutland Weekend Television", with a classic Idle tale investigating the disease we call...Love, followed by the first appearance of the Pre-Fab Four in their original line-up and Eric's first version of what became the intro to the film, "The Rutles in All You Need Is Cash", which came out a, not so very distant, time later and went on to become the legendary reel of classic celluloid that it isn't today.
Sorry. I meant, "is", not "isn't". Enjoy. *fart* Oh dear.

  • Thanks for the response. I think that the tv film, "All You Need Is Cash", ranks as high as any Python film for consistantly funny ideas and pointed observations.
Certainly worth it for the music.
Even the production values applied in the soundtrack were reflective of The Beatles from start to conclusion.
Inspired lunacy? George Harrison thought so.
    His involvement was proof.
No hardcore Beatles fan should be without the dvd or cd.
Hell. Neil Innes got so close to the real thing in his contributions, he ended up having to share songwriting credits with Lennon/McCartney.
