Obama tells critics to leave his wife alone

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said on Monday that Republican critics should stop picking on his wife Michelle.
"These folks should lay off my wife," Obama said in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America."
Obama was referring to a four-minute video posted on YouTube by the Tennessee Republican Party last week during a visit by Michelle Obama that portrayed a remark she made in February in an unflattering manner.
Michelle Obama's remark that "for first time in my adult lifetime I'm proud of my country" stirred a controversy at the time. Critics said it sounded unpatriotic and suggested she had not been proud of her country before her husband's candidacy.
In the ABC interview, Obama, an Illinois senator and Democratic front-runner to contest the November election against Republican John McCain, called the video "low class" and said "most of the American people would think that as well."
The Republican video repeatedly showed Michelle Obama making the proud remark interspersed with comments by Tennesseans about their own patriotism.
"Whoever is in charge of the Tennessee GOP needs to think long and hard about the kind of campaign that they want to run," Obama said.
Michelle Obama joined her husband in the ABC interview and said she believed voters were more focused on the issues.
"We are trusting that the American voters are ready to talk about the issues and not talking about things that have nothing to do with making people's lives better," she said.

Does anyone but me think it's just a bit arrogant to presume to tell the opposition what they can or cannot question? I've never before seen a political candidate do that. It's a Presidential campaign, anything and everything is open to question, and most assuredly the potential First Lady. But he just brushes away questions he doesn't like as irrelevant and out of bounds, and the press, so far at least, let him get away with it. Amazing the leeway this guy gets.

As well Obama should, since Michelle has done what botoxed beer baraness Barbie, drug addiction sold separately, has not - shared her tax forms for National scrutiny!
As far as I'm concerned, Michelle is a true patriot, a tax paying citizen, about whom fascist xenophobes married to their own siblings and first cousins have no right to attack until Aging Badly Barbie McCocaine submits a tax form!-

Obama doesnt like anyone picking on his wife... what is this high school?? well Obama thats to damn bad... when she makes speeches etc shes fair game... it didnt bother her when she trashed Hillary and you did also and your sick friends.....you wont be able to stop it so if you want just send her big azz home..oh wait that is where she is good.... then we dont have to look at her ..the nastiness on her face... the hate she shows... I dont hate her she just disgust me....no mater what you and her try your racism shows... not only to whites but to blacks you have aso terribly critisized..you have a lot of nerve...one who doesnt even respect the life of a unborn child... clean your own act up both you and michelle lest you eventually look like the phonys you both are...to all Americans....you already are to me and my friends..
