If a woman is going to get time for saying this to a teen over myspace a judge should definitely have an ethics review.
Even if they were trying to prove a point that continuing down their path would lead to death I don't agree with telling any person they should commit suicide. Obviously if this is the 3rd charge for drinking there is something else going on in the home that needs to be addressed,-

imagine the awkward sillence after that sentence!

If the judge really said this, he should be punished for that commit. It doesn’t surprise me to hear negative commits from judges. If you ever go to your local court house, you will hear worst.

So what happens now?
-
He will probably not receive punishment due to his/her knowledge of the law.

stupid and misleading title that only exacerbates the issue, but hey... thats Fox News right?!
actually the judge has a point, maybe read the article first. nothing wrong with making a stern point.
next time link to the source! -
PerlPunk,
It says the judge suggested him to jump off a roof, or slit his wrist. Which would be suicide! So what are you talking about? -
I would tell the judge that he can do the same!
-
Kallico75,
Indeed your correct, however, when looked at in-context its a bit more relevant to the situation. Seriously judges are judges for a reason, i've had my time in front of one or two and they aren't there to be your friend! After a third offense for the same thing the guy needs to wake up. Lets stop being a overly-sensitive society, take some criticism and move on.
