The Dalai Lama is starting a 10-day visit to the UK. His tour comes against the backdrop of a tense relationship between Tibet and China.

But the government knows too that political endorsement of the Dalai Lama always sparks angry complaint from Beijing.

    So why can't our govt have a word with Beijing rather than looking to kiss a*rse. I suppose China are going to be running corporation Earth in a few decades so we must watch our Ps & Qs around them.
