Whether it’s clean water, clear skies, healthy forests, or saving endangered species, “there has been no worse administration than the Bush administration,” a distinguished political scientist says.

I believe this quote can be used for more than just concerning the environment...
-
What did anyone expect? GWB "owns" the EPA.
-
Is this really surprising? Bush has already driven so much of our society and economy into the ground.
-
that is not surprising. at least were not dead.....yet.

this does not surprise me one bit. When this administration pats themselves on the back for putting the polar bear on the endangered species but put the wording out in a way to protect big industry is just typical!

Now see, this is what happens when you put taking care of home last. I don't mean with Homeland Security, I mean with doing things to ACTUALLY take care of it. From the dirt to the plants to the animals including human beings. It insults me as a member of this beautiful country that we've had, for 8 years, a leader who was so unpatriotic, he didn't find the need to properly attend to his country and would rather pick fights over seas.

Not surprising

agree with kristinl
he tried to change the clean air act to the "clear skies act". his energy policy is nonexistent. hydrogen is a thing of the future and its all he ever talked about, that and oh cellulosic biofuels, which he mentioned in nearly every state of the union address but didn't actually give money to until this past year. that and the whole epa steven johnson controversy, ugh headache!-

Bush is bad for the enviroment. Ignor it until it goes away or we need his friends company to clean it up. but the problem needs to be really bad to make the sale so we wait.

The Bush Administration is a disgusting, delusional, selfish, incompetent, and destructive monster.
They are horrid with the natural environment, they created a terrible societal environment in Iraq, they have a secretive White House environment.
I'm pretty sure they aren't ANY type of environment people. The only one they do well with is the environment of corruption, deception, and cover ups.
How much will we tolerate as citizens? Can't we fire or take over these clowns? A coup?
They don't respond to Congress' subpoenas, investigation, and document requests. The FBI needs to make a few trips to the White House and the homes of prior staff members like Rumi.
May America rise better in the future!-

COMMON SENCE IS NOT COMMON ANYMORE. And if you wonder when it left, it was when Clinton was in office.
