LA GRANGE, IL May 11 -- "A man impersonating a Relay for Life volunteer stole 100 burritos intended for a benefit concert. Police are searching for a thin, middle-aged, balding white man who picked up the burritos from Chipotle Mexican Grill, 1 S. La Grange Road, at 4:43 p.m. Chipotle was donating the food for the fundraiser. The man, who wore a black Relay for Life T-shirt, had called earlier in the day asking to get the food ahead of the scheduled 6 p.m. pickup, the manager reported. The Relay for Life group at Lyons Township High School had planned to sell the donated burritos at $4 each during a benefit concert in La Grange. The manager described the man as about 45 years old, 5-feet, 9-inches tall. He had black curly hair with a receding hairline and wore prescription glasses and was driving a newer model brown Dodge Charger with black and brown leather seats. Erin Nevicosi, a spokesperson for Chipotle, "I just hope bad karma catches up with him." The concert still generated $1,500, including a $500 donation from two parents to cover the burrito sales loss."
