This insane move will be the start of word war III. Keep in mind that Iran is not Iraq, it has a strong guerilla army, lots of sleeper cells around the Middle East, and has powerful allies such as China and Russia.

He must stop this, the war and hate relations we already are in the centre of and links to other fall down relations with other countrys have already gone un-resolved. I'm with maersyad, also, rememer the link with the independence of Kosovo, the event India and Russia were against, also the event the UK, US, France and I think alsoGermany were also for, aswell as France also now being our strong allies in the middle eastern wars, and Russia hateing my country (the UK) already about building a British embassy in Moscow. We're set for the next WORLD war alright, not good.

If this is true, I wonder if the timing will ensure the Republicans get to continue their agenda? Doesn't he need congressional approval THIS time? I have a lot of questions but I guess it boils down to how the hell he'll get away with starting another war and who he'll use to fight it. This is definitely not the way to keep us more secure, I agree with merasyad. Just hoping this is another rumor to create fear prior to the elections? Questions, questions.

If this goes down, I'd hope the American people and military (lower levels) would physically refuse to put up with it...as in, riots and desertion.

They are currently still members of Congress I believe ( though not doing their job while "campaigning" on our dime) so why the silence? Do they secretly go along with this? Clinton herself stated she would "irradicate" Iran if they fired a nuke on Israel... Obama stated all options are on the table regarding Iran... McCain is mini me Bush. So, is this already in the bag?

while rumors of Bush intending to attack Iran have been around for a few years now , this story is garbage - the only significant thing about it is the idea that the Israeli military would be broadcasting this story so soon after the US has called for "scrutiny" of Israel's nukes- it would indicate Israel is trying to create a climate of fear , and cause a war with Iran , even ahead of Bush's supposed plans -
my take - Israel is trying to insure the US goes to war with Iran , and that Israel's nuke-scrutiny will be put on the back-burner.
i wouldn't rule out Israel planting the bodies of kidnapped Iranian officers just outside the entrance to one of it's nuke installations , explosives in hand , etc.

Whether or not an attack on Iran would be warranted (the current Iranian regime is indeed a "bunch of assholes"), the US - unless the military has suddenly gotten a hell of a lot better with their straight-for-the-throat tactics - just isn't capable of yet another long, drawn-out war, especially against an enemy like Iran, which is hugely different from Afghanistan or Iraq, particularly because of powerful allies...
...all of which leads me to think that the story indeed has an 95% chance of bullshit.

i still think Mossad generated this story , even if Iranian counter - intelligence publicized it - furthermore , i think both Iran and Israel are actually conspiring together against the US - if i were Bush , i'd just tactically nuke both and be done with the mess .
