US: Israeli's fabricated Iran war report

The White House has rejected a recent Israeli report that the Bush administration is gearing up for a military attack against Iran.
An article in today's Jerusalem Post about the president's position on Iran that quotes unnamed sources is not worth the paper it is written on, said White House press secretary Dana Perino on Tuesday.
"Let me respond by reaffirming the policy of the administration: We, along with our international allies who want peace in the Middle East, remain opposed to Iran's ambitions to obtain a nuclear weapon," she added.
Perino explained that Washington hopes to persuade Iran into halting its uranium enrichment solely through diplomatic and economic pressure.
