John Mayer charges a fan $10 for a picture

John Mayer seems to be getting sweeter and sweeter these days! Yesterday, in Los Angeles he charged $10 to a fan to take his picture! Would you pay $10 for a picture of John? And she gave it to him too! What was John’s reply?

“I just charged 10 dollars for a picture, I know what I’m worth.”

Oh Mr. Mayer you are worth more than 10 dollars…And John I’m on your side, everyone calls you a douche because they are jealous of your sense of humor. I like it! That’s all that matters!

  • Saying you "know how much you're worth" isn't a sense of humor... it's an over-inflated sense of ego...

    Look he's a good musician, I saw him live and the man knows how to make you weep through a guitar solo, but this story is the most assinine thing I've heard all day.

  • I dunno taylor, that's a possibility... I mean if you're going to be an icon to the level that he is, it's a damn good way of getting people to notice you.

    I guess I just don't get why somebody would pretend to be something they're not. Tends to just draw negative attention. Some of his songs are really powerful (Wheel, Comfortable) and I think that more honest "nice guy" side could gain him equally as much attention, in a positive way.

  • I think he likes to play with people...and now that people are calling him names I think he's going with it. I think he is a powerful musician too but didn't really start to notice him until he started being a "prick"...so if it works...I guess you go with it.
