  • I think, we have already dealt with presidential assassinations and No terror laws were passed to deal with it. Assassinations are normally carried out by a one crazy man show.

  • I thought the patriot act only took away habeas corpus and it was this John Warner National Defense Authorization Act that granted presidential power to declare martial law. It expands the Insurrection Act.

    It doesn't take 342 pages just to take away habeas corpus and expand the Insurrection Act, ivxx. The Patriot Act does much, much worse than that.

  • Thanks for the link, a real good read. It amazes me Bush hasn't been impeached. He's the first president which you could find different reasons to do that... many, many reasons.
