SciGuy: Do any Americans -- at all -- care about global warming?

Recent GallUp poll results included. Some interesting reading, and points of view. Also, what's this comment below about Al Gore not wanting to debate Global Warming? Is that something someone made up? Has that been the case? I guess I could dig up some info on the net, but be careful of what you read believe on the net in the first place :)

I find it interesting how they classify the Global Warming as Climate Change or Environmental/Pollution. Wow it's only 1%??? Who did they call, the farmers? I dislike polls really, and the study of statistics I remember was not a no brainer. enjoy...
