A man named Jamie Livingston took a photo every day from 1979 until his death in 1997. The Polaroids document his life, his loves, and his death (from cancer). These Polaroids were stumbled upon by Chris Higgins. The following article, by Higgins, talks about who Jamie was and how Chris came upon the website.     • This is so amazing. I just heard about this on some radio show and I have to say that this is one of the most inspirational and inspiring things I've seen in a awhile.

      Looking at the last photo taken is quite hard to swallow in. You can tell the photographer is so emotionally effected by how the he could barely keep the camera from shaking.

      Polaroids are such a great memorabilia.

      - my friends always bitch at how I always wanna take pictures but act the complete opposite and more when I actually print them out and send them via snail mail.
      Physical presence of images, and everyone loves pic of themselves, are so much more powerful and present than electronic gadget devices. call me old school but I love it. great post. iheart mental floss.

    • I am thinking of doing this myself. Will rid me of the need to write an autobiography when I'm old. A 300 page book just can't do it. A picture speaks a thousand words. If I live 50 more years.They'll be 18,250000 words. Don't worry I have a Flickr Pro account :) where I can store unlimited pictures!

    • Very cool. Sometimes it's weird to get a look inside someone's life. You can see how these reality shows and so-called "documentaries" can twist one's idea of what life is and how people are but these pictures tell their own story and one can draw their own conclusions. It's a really cool find.
