San Franciscan firm offers to clone your dogs for extra cash. Did anyone learn anything from the sheep we tried a while back? What is this obsession with cloning?

Why not? I hate the fact that we are always trying to stop science. I would think that this could slow down the over breeding of dogs to get just one puppy because you want to keep a bloodline. Mean while you have 7 other puppies born at the same time that need to find a home. I say let it happen.

She died whilst physically still young from progressive lung disease. As this is common in older sheep, many have argued that this raises questions about her 'true' age - when she died, was she in fact the same age as the sheep she was cloned from? Kind of mind-blowing really.
