Scarlett Johansson claims she is a "decent" singer

Having heard snippets of her debut album, a collection of Tom Waits covers entitled "Anywhere I Lay My Head", I'm not quite sure I agree. Scarlett claims that she isn't alone in her vocal talent - most actors possess good singing pipes, because they are "mimics" and can copy the sounds that they hear.

Her producer recommended that she keep a mini tape recorder on her person at all times so as to record sounds she liked as she heard them, so she found herself running outside to try and capture the haunting hoots of nearby owls.

I'd rather pay money to see that than buy her album, quite frankly.
