Mexican drug cartels prefer U.S. weapons to fight drug war

Many Mexican drug cartels are utilizing the loose gun laws in many south eastern states to purchase assault weapons that are used in the Mexican drug war. Assault weapons are illegal to the general public in Mexico, so many Mexican drug moguls are smuggling weapons from the United States across the border into Mexico. Many of the Mexican authorities are ill-equipped to defend themselves against the powerful assault weapons and have consequently lost over 2000 police officers.

    I think it makes sense that the Mexican drug cartels prefer United States weapons. What other country makes current weapons technology that is as effective at killing as our nation at this point in time?

    What a load of BS. First of all what the hell is an "assault" weapon? Passenger jets like those used on 9-11? Fertilizer and diesel fuel, the choice of Tim McVeigh? Homemade flamethrowers like the Pardo clown prefered? How about the choice these guys:

    The "assault" weapon tag given to legal firearms is pure propaganda from the leftist gun-grabbers. 50 million gun owners "assault" no one every day.

    Secondly, if the dumbass Mexican authorities are so ill-equipped why don't they go out and buy some damn weapons?
