Nice, go Olbermann
-
I agree that Keith Olbermann is just as much a nuisance as Bill O'Reilly. Even though I certainly don't agree with most things FOX news has to say, it doesn't mean that I support Keith either. These overly opinionated journalists are only adding to the problem, not helping. I am SO ready for us to move past this competition of Obama and Clinton.
-
first time i agree 100% w what olbermann says
-
I like Olbermann. I don't always agree with him, but I think is point of view is nice counter balance to the right wing opinion shows. People should remember that he's a commentator, not a journalist. There is a big difference.
His list here of Clinton's gaffes really puts things in perspective and I think should help us understand why so many people are having such a strong reaction to this latest stupidity. -
wow, that was much needed. Deep down I had wished Barack would respond just as boldly as Keith in past times, but it is a prime example of how positivity won over negativity. She ruthlessly fought and tried to bring him down with out the slightest of moral discretion and she failed.

I agree with krag. At least Olberman does not claim to be a journalist (as O'reilley claims). If you agree with him or not, he does point out Clinton's many missteps in the campaign. I think that she might be a good fit in a cabinet position, but if she keeps running her mouth the way that she does, her chances become slimmer and slimmer.
-
I think Olbermann was right on, but he was a little long-winded about it. He made his point long before he finished his commentary. I'm glad he's around though, fighting the Bush crime family's media machine.
-
Olbermann is there to give his opinion, at least what he says isn't dumbheaded. I appreciate what he's got to say. He's got passion.

I have to say, he is fearless, and a true patriot.
-
You gotta agree with this guy to love what he says. I couldn't agree with him more. I haven't heard a thing of his (although I will admit I haven't heard too much) that I didn't wholeheartedly agree with and believe in. Exactly, current89. Fearless and patriotic.
-
He was unnecessarily hostile to her in my opinion, but he made some good points. Especially when he went through and listed all the dumb shit she's done against democrats this campaign.
He went overboard in terms of how offensive the comment was too. But he made up for by providing examples about why her remark about staying in the race was stupid. -
Once again, the only thing Obamaheads have to stand on, bashing the Hills. It's certainly not gonna help once Obama has to actually talk about his plans and what his platform is truly about (let's forget "hope" for a millisecond).
-
Shouldn't he have gone on a tirade about Obama not wearing an American flag on his lapel, I mean he posed for a pic holding an American flag to imply he's a "true American".
-
Please. They differences between Obama's policies and Hillary's are not that stark. The real difference is in how they've conducted themselves in this nomination process. I think Obama has proven himself to be more than capable of getting his point across. He has talked about his plans, and has even moved on from squabbling with Hillary, taking on the war issues with McCain. Like I've said before, we're all biased toward one side or the other which makes it near impossible to have a clear p.o.v.
..."let's forget "hope" for a millisecond."
I've done that for the last 7 years. I think we could use a little right now. -
I think you are to afraid to admit that Obama has to take that approach, because if he didn't he'd be seen as just another "angry black man". Why do you think Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson couldn't be president?
And as far as POV's, I'm not biased. I'm not even voting for Clinton and I can see what hogwash these supposed "valid points" are.
And as far as forgetting about hope for the last 7 years. I don't think anyone gave up "hope", they just laid back until this election came up. Now all of a sudden everyone cared about the issues 7 yrs ago. -
Hillary just needs to stop and go home. I, for one am disgusted with the double talk and flat out lies. Her comment is beyond forgiving. I don't care how you rationalize it or try to justify a reason for comments like these. They are offensive and incendiary. Our nation needs healing not more of the same rhetoric and fear mongering that the Clinton campaign has shamelessly adhered to during this political process. Whether you agree with Keith's commentary or not, in my opinion doesn't matter. The fact remains that the political process in our country needs a major overhaul, one that can not manifest under the same blind, corrupt process that is the status quo. After almost 8 years of "shock & awe preemptive colonialism", we are on a path that has striped US of our diplomacy, our security and our humility. What GWB has done in his "presidency" will take decades to repair, at home and more importantly abroad.
NEVER, EVER give up on HOPE! Hope is what gives us the REASON to dream, to have the chance to change, and ultimately to be HUMAN!-
