The "notion of radio" died with the introduction of the internet and other new available technologies. With all of our technology advances, it surprises me that the Whitney Museum chose to include this project as a "trend setter". It's a 2 watt transmittor, something a kid can build. Well, maybe more kids will build their own and start neighborhood radio stations from watching this video. An art project included in the Whitney's Biennial? No wonder this year's event got scathing reviews.
