The Front Deutscher Äpfel (short F.D.Ä.; German for Front of German Apples), also called Apfelfront (Apple Front) is a satirical organisation, founded in Leipzig in 2004. It satirizes right extremist parties, especially the Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands (NPD).
The key demands of the organisation are:
1. Termination of the overforeignisation of German fruit by engrafting of foreign species;
2. Closing the borders against tropical fruits;
3. Elimination of lazy/rotten windfall.

so? I don't understand, are they protesting against not having fruit imported from other countries? Germans don't have fruit, and they are too good to eat anything that is imported, therefore they will all suffer from rickets.

@ HeadNtheClouds: you have to read between the lines, it's a satire. Apples are just a metaphor to mock the racist attitude of the Nazi regime. Substitute the fruit-related words with "people" or "human beings" and you'll understand.
