There is an official word for just about every fear conceivable. Likewise, there is also a fear for nearly everything. This just goes to show how nimble and crafty the human brain really is. If we can invent it in our minds, it really exists, or so we believe. Here’s a list of phobias that would really suck to have. I honestly think I would shoot myself in the head if I had Eurotophobia!

Fear of gravity? How is that possible?

I'm not sure but these are all valid fears. I guess you can have a fear of anything. I mean come on, a fear of beautiful women? WTF?!
-
It made me laugh pretty hard reading some of these because they are so ridiculous, but it's sad knowing that people actually have to live their lives every day coping with things like this. I don't think they have too much to do with developing these fears. They make them worse, but I can't believe that someone would make themselves fear such irrational things.

I can see a really geeky kid with no game being afraid of gorgeous women, but gravity is inevitable. Regardless, I don't envy these folks.

@iammyfathersson You're right. I completely agree when you put it that way. Gravity just happens though. It really would suck to have any of those fears.
-
@Sara_Airey I agree. It must be horrible to actually have to deal with such fears. However, it is funny from the outside looking in and not knowing why someone would fear those things.

[From "The Paranoid's Pocket Guide to Mental Disorders You Can Just Feel Coming On"]
If you suffer from Delusions of Parasitosis, you will believe your body is teeming with bugs. You can feel them crawling beneath your skin, you can see them emerging from your pores and orifices, you will find them floating in the toilet after you relieve yourself. It's a nightmare. One might think it's better to THINK you're infested with maggots than to actually BE infested with maggots, but consider this:
You can have actual maggots extracted from your body. How do you get rid of imaginary maggots?

I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. -
Even Dick Cheney?

@mako2424 Interesting. That's just nasty though. I would rather imagine maggots away than have them surgically removed. agh!

ok...maybe Dick Cheney.
