Troy Hurtubise is a Canadian body armor designer who's built the IED-survivable Ursus suit. Here's a vid of Troy playing with his new Trojan II armor.
Oh, he's also bat-shit insane.

Why are inventors always fucking crazy.

Yes maybe he has to many joints in his suit that would not stand up to an air to air missile eh!
-
bat shit insane indeed. and IED survivable suit implies that there is some science backing him up or that he has tested the suit in some way, neither of which seem to be true.

Wow that guy is crazy as bat shit. He talked a big game and by that I mean he pitched his product like a four AM infomercial host. The demonstration proved nothing. How am I supposed to judge how stealthy his suit is when Tool is blaring in the background? The makeup wearing “guards” were ridiculous too. If they were smart they would of paid attention to the camera man since he managed to get a close up facial shot of “Captain lameo” every time he stealthily snuck up on them. By the way who throws knives still?!? Seriously was that necessary?
All in all I can’t wait to see the real IED suit in action.
