WWII B-24 NAVIGATOR REFLECTS ON HIS MISSIONS OVER EUROPE

WWII B-24 navigator F.C. Hap Chandler recently reflected on his missions over Europe in WWII at a Commemorative Air Force Dixie Wing WWII Heritage Days held in Peachtree City, GA.

Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing hosted its fifth annual "WWII Heritage Days" April 26-27, 2008. The event was held at The Historical Airpower Facility, Falcon Field, Peachtree City, GA. and brought together vintage vehicles and aircraft, WWII veterans, guest speakers and reenactors from throughout the southeast to pay tribute to The Greatest Generation, the men and women who won the Second World War.

WWII Heritage Days is a community celebration that entertained and educated the entire family. The event included local actors portraying 1940's Hollywood stars, canteen shows, swing dance demonstrations, educational displays, and, the annual hangar dance
