U.S. confidence in our economy fell more than expected due to high gas prices and a worsening real estate market. Optimism that the economy will get better soon is not a possibility at this moment, due to estimates that the slow economy should last well into Summer of 2009.

  • We have allowed ourselves to be robed for the profit of a few. The oil company front men were on the hill this last week telling congress how their profit margins were being squezed dry with record profits. Does not Make sense! I think that if we had a government with any spine we would not have the CEO's of the oil and insurance companys ruling our country.

  • It's only getting more fun from here! I think it will really crash through the floor and we'll all be completely screwed. At this point I'm inclined to think less about a career and more about how to grow my own food...

  • We all know they are all lying from BUSHY on down. What a sad state of affairs. Congress? Bunch of spineless pinheads protecting thier own intrest. Not all, some are good honest people but as a whole they sure don't make much of a statement for Democracy or the Average American and the American way of life.

  • We could have a serious revolt brewing if the oil companies post record profits through all this.

    I pray that one day the blood of the workforce is what matters....not that "Investor Green" that seems to be so vital.

    "We missed our number this quarter. Fuck you, you try and run a multi billion dollar corporation." Oh man, would that be a sobering day on Wall Street....the day the employee became more vital than the investor.
