Honestly, headlines can be misleading, this one is not. The Caspian nations are in alliance with each other to produce as they call it, Nuclear Power Plants, which of course has a dual purpose - making the ingredients for nuclear bombs.
I really believe there is an alternative to ANY nation demanding so-called nuclear power.
I pose this one solution in exchange of nuclear power:
SOLAR POWER.
Are there really countries out there this blind? I want to know how much it costs to put up a Nuclear Power Plant - I guess Rand Corp is a good place to start researching. I truly doubt a SOLAR POWER PLANT costs MORE than a NUCLEAR POWER PLANT.
Are countries really this blind, and are not privy to the information that SOLAR POWER can be used to produce as much power as a Nuclear plant???
This hurts my brain. Nuclear power terrible solution when there is an equal alternative.
Besides, if a nuclear power plant has a melt down, earthquake, natural disaster, or is hit by terrorist, the area is dead for thousands of years; conversely, if a SOLAR POWER PLANT is destroyed however, the only problem will be no power until the plant is fixed.
GOOD GRIEF, the only reason these 3rd world hard up countries want nuclear power is to produce bombs in the short/long run and use them as leverage to enter world markets by force. Hello, North Korea? How else can they enter the world market, oh yah, that's it, by force of course.
I know it's sad, and most likely true, or as least hard to prove, and this is not really well researched, but it's a start to look at the signs, and begin to add up why the US enters wars, or any country does what it does, in the first place. If you don't care, then this current event has not true meaning ot you, but to those who are educated, and understand the intricacies of world diplomacy, you will see the importance of Putin meeting with Iran.
I have posted previous thoughts regarding the use of SOLAR energies around the world, and how it will be very hard to get other countries around the world to use SOLAR on a grand scale. I seriously doubt Putin is not aware of SOLAR energy, nor Iran. And with that, it means, handing over yet another bomb making machine over to yet another country claiming they need nuclear power, when clearly we all see that SOLAR TECHNOLOGY IS HERE.
Every country on this plant can go SOLAR, since every country can trade something for this technology if they can not produce it themselves. Again, research begins with Rand Corp.
Lastly, how dare any Russian gov support nuclear power plants, don't they remember Chernyobal, as they are the only true disaster in nuclear history besides 2 bombs in Japan, 600 plus above ground tests by Russia and US, and various other countries, and also, our little melt down here in the US in the 70's. Seriously, there is no more need for Nuclear power, I guess except for submarines. Interesting, when I think nuclear I think war like machines and bombs, not power. I wonder if this is how Putin thinks, or Iran's President.
Chess played incorrectly, is a game foolishly played - Oly
Oh! how terrible it would be if we do attack Iran and others over Nuclear issues, RATHER than offering to them, the use of SOLAR power rather than NUCLEAR.
Wake up starts in 5 mins...
There are my two bits, enjoy.
