Spring breakers flock to south beach to enjoy fun and the sun and are confronted with the realities of war and the world.

IT'S FOR REAL !!!
It shows how people in the US are to a large degree not aware of what's going on and how it is impacting on their lives and the lives of other citizens. The young, poor, homeless, elderly and others are being effected and affected by the war and the blood and treasure that is being lost to it. -
Wow...I think it's a very good report, very sensitive and dramatic.i am against the war (every war) but much more against the political way of take action and the point of wiew of the E.E.U.U goverment, and a lot of people of South America and the world think the same too...
I can see, by this report, how kids and young people are so blind and desinformed...part of this is fould of the TV and the other part are just there own fould...But, it's very important that all the people start to open mind and eyes to see and reclaim to stop this economic and ambicious war, a lot of lifes are being killed...All North American people must take action, with any ways...and this report is a very good way too...very good oportunity to starting to make reacting people.... -
Yo thats buged yo >How can we all sit here and wat6ch this continue ??????? Wtf the American people?
-
Tell me something who would rather dance for their country then die for it ? Oh yeah are American people the gullable nerds ? Where is education ?
-
I found it interisting that different people from what looks to be different walks of life have the same point of view. Everyone mentioned "resesion" and the lack of education in america.
-
Wonderful. Well put together. I don't think that it's so much that people are unaware, or un"educated"...as was commented earlier, but that they are ignorant. If you put a mirror up to anyone's face and they choose to close their eyes for fear they'll see what they don't want to see... THAT is ignorance. I know people with PhD's who do it all the time. :)

It was interesting to see how people aren't really thinking about the war on a daily basis especially if they haven't been personally affected. I personally don't think about the war everyday, but I know that it is senseless and criminal. We need to know that it will probably continue much longer. I didn't know about this memorial because I don't watch the news. Thanks for the knowledge.

The abrupt reality of the war, death, and the dire state of our country and economy all slap you in the face with this video. I think it is crazy that we have grown so numb to what is going on and who is dying that more of these exhibits should exist in the most unlikely places. Students on Spring Break would not be pondering their freedom and mourning the death of their brothers and sisters (both in our country and in Iraq) were it not for this ceremony and exhibit and it is important that the film be made to spread this information to all of us who didn't experience it first hand. Wake up people!

I don't see how anyone sitting in congress can sleep at night knowing the nightmare that is going on over there. How can Bush still be in office after all this death? It's frustrating! And how can we trust that the new president whoever it may be will do anything different. Back in the day the people took to the streets to let government know how they felt about the Vietnam war but I don't see this happening. Perhaps this movie can make a difference.

No agenda - just the truth.
A sunny Miami beach day while others are at war, and the ease at which we Miami residents can drop into conversation about the war, and then as easily drop back to party mode is concerning.
Loved the line where the young man said that he ws thinking about going to sign up, but 'God called him to go to college' - what a cop out... -
This is interesting because many will navigate the question as to why this comes as news....something dismissed from our everyday party lives...oh that's right only the rich and famous are partying on a DAILY basis!....The Opening of new eyes to the possibility of what we could create with more heart and less blab! Eku Se!
