Swiss newspaper asks if Bush was behind 9/11

While I wont claim Bush and Co. was behind the attack. There should be no problem with asking questions when so much has happened within the administration to make them untrustworthy.

I first interview Cheney gave after they were elected, before the war, I believe it was with Tim Russert, but possibly Bob Scheifer. I watched in amazement, # 1 because I was still dumbstruck they stole the election, but #2 because of what Cheney said. He said we would be going to war. The interviewer (Russert or Scheiffer?) questioned him and said the American people would be against a war. Cheney answered, "You just get involved in one first and then the American people will go along with it". That's exactly what they did. THEY ARE SO GUILTY! It's sickening what they have done and I don't want them to get a way with it.

I do feel bad saying this. But i am kinda surprised somebody hasn't tried to assassinate him.

That's one reason I don't like Obama (besides his pro-nuclear stance) because he's for glossing over everything. Everyone should get along, let's unite with the crooks! Even Nancy Pelosi - just pretend like nothing happened. Well something TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED. A lot of people are dead, the world hates us, AND CHENEY/BUSH ARE VERY RICH. The military has taken over and we live with a fascist government instead of a democracy. We need an investigation by non-crooked lawyers, if there are any left in this country.

we could stand to take a closer look at WHY this is taboo in media and WHY it is so emotionally a NO NO to talk about even in a thread like this. I often see the word "stupid" thrown at the conversation around 911.

Is this so taboo because we actually got to see the violence of the event?

I often see arguments that say you gotta shut up about this in respect to the victims and their families. Well....how many are dying in this war? What about those victims and families? What about the people crushed in earthquakes and lives destroyed by floods and hurricanes and tornadoes? All of these stories get front page and prime time. All of these stories have victims and families.

What is this taboo? Why does it freak people out to NOT talk about 911? Many of those same people think this war is a lie. Why not keep open the possibility that the events we watched unfold on 911 may also not be what we have thought they were?

The line between truth and fiction has been so blurred by our government that we'll never know what to believe...

I don't think they actually did it I do think they let it happen. I think they gave orders for the military to stand down on purpose. They are guilty of wanting their Pearl Harbor and allowing it to happen.

i don't believe the official version, but i don't think the conspiracy theorists have the answers either. but what i do know is that the bush administration at the very best made absolutely no effort to prevent 9/11 from happening. at best they are incompetent, at worst they are some of the most evil people and leaders in world history. up there with hitler.

also, what i do know. is that bin laden once worked for our CIA. and who's to say that he was ever taken off the payroll. why do you think we're not even trying to get him.

Bombs going off everywhere in the towers from bottom to top; the controlled demolition; tower 7 collapsing which had tons of info. that they didnt want out and the owner took out a billion$ insurance policy weeks before 911; the plane that didn't hit the pentagon; all the surveillance tapes that captured what actually hit the pentagon were confiscated, hmmm; or the plane that never crash landed in Pennsylvania, no debree, no bodies, no nothing, hmm; but hey we needed a reason to go to war, got lots of money to make!

There is no way that these misfits and incompetents would be able to mount such a conspiracy, much less pull it off with so little evidence. 9/11 "truthers" are delusional, not stupid. I have no trouble discussing 9/11 and what happened, but a quick look at Snopes.com and PopularMechanics.com (if I remember right) rightly put the 9/11 truthers in the company of those who believe ETs are among us or those who believe that water bears a secret message. These people are, so far, harmless, but they are delusional, and there are other, more real world, concerns which should be occupying our time. I'd love to see Bush, Cheney, et al prosecuted for their crimes–though I disagree with those of you wearing tin foil hats, I am not an employee of KBR or Halliburton or Blackwater–but that could be done just based on the war crimes they've actually committed. You know, the ones they issued press releases about.

I am pleased that this article yet again shows that the world view on 9/11 truth has grown into one of the more conservative parts of the world. I can't wait to see what the peoples reaction will be there.

It's hard to ignore the NeoCon/Zionist line at this point. Frankly as days go on, they are helping the truth movement out tremendously; enter Scott McClellan. That alone should be a wake up call to the so-called "debunkers" of truth. Hmmm.. Bush, Rummy, Cheny lied about Iraq/Al Quada, Valerie Plame, WMDs. Anything else?

If I were to go on with the mountain of evidence that shows at the very least, that our current administration and their cronies allowed 9/11 to happen, I'm afraid I'd clog the intertubes.

After researching this event for 3 years am tired. Tired of shills, trolls, and commented insults that come with no information to back up ones viewpoint.

I do urge those of you that see Loose Change as the definitive evidence on 9/11 to look elsewhere as well. Specifically to directly fed network footage from that day. And NO, I am not talking about the NO Planes hit the tower theory. That is disinformation hurting the movement IMO.

Google: PNAC, Vigilant Guardian, Operation Northwoods, Norman Mineta. Show the circumstances of that day that weren't shown on the media. Show how the government documents outlining this has happened before. Show how Rummy, Rice, Wolfawitz lied on camera. These are good topics for discussions. They can help the many who are fearful at looking at the facts to become more inquisitive.

Also. Alternate sources that aren't profiting from their productions help the movement more than those that are (enter Alex Jones, Dylan Avery, Jason Bermas). While they may have a point, and have good presentation, it clogs the mind since a persons view of the presenters intent could be jaded due to their possible desire to profit.

Don't get me wrong, though I appreciate what Dylan and Jason did with Loose Change, it's time to discuss specific information or material. Dissect the event down to laws of physics and who profited and still profits. What are they doing with their profits today? Who do they work for today? Many of them have been fired from the Administration.

Not everyone has time to sit down for 2 hours to hear a what sounds like a teenager presenting a conspiracy theory (Loose Change). Ya' feel me dog? Show them something that allows them to want more information. Take your time and don't pressure them. Don't throw a bunch of links at them and expect them to research something that will change their lives and their view of the world. If you truly care, you'll be patient. If they don't wish to discuss it. It's okay. Another day maybe.

We can't trust Bush or any of his family or team, it should be investigated t o the fullest extent by an unbiased team if you can find one and insure it is unbiased. It would not surprise me if he and his evil doers were. New World Order.

Yes let's investigate. I'm sure this will solve the problem of who done it. I'm sure that by finding out the truth everyone will feel better and everyone's life will be perfect.

The bombing of Pearl Harbor was said to be the same thing. That it was allowed so America could join in WWII; So that they had a reason to fight.

They still are not sure and that was decades ago. They have theories. They have thoughts. They don't have anything that directly points to it as this is what happen BAM proof.

This will be no different. You are only asking for truth because what you want is to hate Bush more than you already do. No one cares for truth on this. I find that to be a lie when people state, "I just want to know the truth."

When anger is involved with groups of people what is formed is not a truth group but a mob. Angered persons do not look for truth they look for agreement with what they believe and if it doesn't fit then they will ignore and move on until someone (or a Swedish Newspaper) comes along and makes a point they love because it is in line with their set of preconceived thoughts.

I do no trust people's views on Bush (or anyone for that matter) if they state extreme dislike or even hate. There vision is clouded by rage to even bother being at all balanced or logical.

Was there more than meets the eye with 9/11? Probably. Is it worth knowing the truth? No. It won't matter. It'll just cause more pain and no one will be punished and you certainly will not stop it from ever happening again.

When deciding if something is worth doing balance out the good and the bad. There's too much bad that would come from bring it up now and not enough good for it to even make a positive difference in history.

I'm pretty sure he didn't have anything to do with the planning because that would have taken cognitive abilities well above is capacity. But through negligence, ignorance and depraved indifference he should be held directly responsible.

Many of us have seen this conspiracy theory, and though they are convincing, they are not evidence enough to prosecute Bush that he did it... totally futile. If he did, he got away with it. I don't think it was Bush, but I can understand why there are so many people who do. We really will never know.

One thing we do know, something much more concrete than the 9/11 conspiracy, is the fact that the government used 9/11 as a scare tactic in order to gain American support to go to war. I think time wasted accusing Bush of 9/11 can be better spent protesting the war in Iraq.

Instead of dismissing people, which we do when do not want to hear the truth. Listen to what people are saying. Look at what is happening around you. Can't you see that the new world order proponets are gathering their stores of gold. Ask yourself.... WHY?????

I'm not sure what to think about the 9/11 attacks... Perhaps Osama was behind the attacks and perhaps the government knew about them before they even happened, but all this thoughts are just speculation...
At this point I am with Soap... I don't think that the US government kill their own people or atleast I hope so...

What I do know is, that no one should take the articles by "BLICK" to serious... "BLICK" is a yellow journalism paper similar to the British "SUN" or the German "BILD". I know that because I'm Swiss. ;)

Conspiracy theories aside, its clear that the Federal government is hiding something. The 9/11 Commission report is a joke. There needs to be a real, thorough investigation into the events surrounding 9/11.

Though I dout that that is true. I have to say that is a good thought.
