The very possibility that the Commodity Futures and Trading Commission (CFTC) is
investigating trading in oil futures to determine whether the surge in prices to record levels is the result of manipulation or fraud makes you wonder... They might want to take a look at wheat, rice and corn futures while they're at it!

The famous Joseph Goebbels quote comes to mind -

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Why is gas selling for around a dollar in Puerto Rico? And around four dollars a gallon here? Check out picture #4.

Watch this video to get another perspective on our global energy situation:

Ever think that the Energy "Crisis" is contrived? IT's a far-out claim, but one people should ponder before dismissing it outright.

Thanks dearmat23 - we should keep Goebbels quote close in mind.

Every time I fill up, I feel like I'm stuffing twenties in my gas tank. I'm never above half a tank and I have to drive 20 miles to school and work each day. I hope someone's happy cuz I'm living with a tight budget. I wonders how the ski slopes are in Saudi Arabia?

I love the people that get on a blog and pretend they are rolling in the dough. Or are big stock holders. If you were you wouldn't feel the need to brag. You would feel secure enough not to have to.

If you don't fight for change and quit to go and use something else then that's also being passive aggressive. You're not doing anything to help further any change other than in yourself, and that, in this case, isn't helping anyone but who? Exactly. So maybe it should be called passive aggressive selfishness.

I think riding a bike is a great idea, but it doesn't solve a single problem. It's running away from the problem in hopes someone else solves it.

J Jammer is right. If you don't stand up for yourself and your family who will? The government! I think Not. I have been spreading the message against globalist Imperialism for four years now and most people do not want to believe it but every once in awhile someone understands. That is why I continue.

There agenda is quickening and more people can see that now. Our pull away from Oil scares them because that has been there mainstay for power for so long but now it is food. You can start growing your own food (If Monsanto will let you) but you still have to spread the message and vote for a third party if change is ever coming to pass.

It is fucked how they are talking about the price of gasoline in 2050 when hydrogen is here today.

More and more people are waking up from the media Matrix every day and it is our jobs who understand to help them see the light.

Sorry if these seem like ramblings, I just woke up.

I'm definitely for the use of different fuel. I support the use of hydrogen. One problem: the infrastructure that was built under our highway system in the 1950s that carries our oil across the country is built for oil. Transforming it for the use of hydrogen will be a very expensive task. Our refueling stations, which are also built for oil products, will also need to be changed for hydrogen use.
Science still needs to develop more ideas for this great idea before it can be applied to our infrastructure.
