This happened in the town I live in, its nice to see that some people are willing to risk their lives to help others.
Excerpt from story below.
Bob Bundy lost his wife and his home in a fire last Wednesday but was focusing yesterday on the farm he loved, trying to piece together the records of a cattle business he spent decades building.
Greg Bryant, who suffered burns to both hands and arms while pulling Bundy's wife, Joyce, from the burning home, was released yesterday from Harborview Medical Center. It was his 21st birthday.
Although they have yet to meet, the two men's lives have come together since the fire.
"It sounds like I've made some lifetime friends," Bryant said yesterday while waiting to be released from the hospital. "They've called me a bunch. I can't wait to get home to meet them. They sound like really awesome people," he said of Bundy's family and friends.
Bundy's family sent flowers to Bryant, and they asked that in lieu of flowers for Mrs. Bundy, who did not want a service when she died, donations be sent to help defray Bryant's hospital bills.

Thanks for sharing this, rabidlemur. Seems like a great community with quite a hero.

Thanks for posting this. Bryant is quite the hero. I hope this exposure on Current helps generate donations for both Bryant and Bundy, who lost his wife and his home.
