Some families have found marijuana (mmj) to be nothing short of miraculous. Some of the symptoms MMJ has ameliorated include anxiety--even severe anxiety--aggression, panic disorder, generalized rage, tantrums, property destruction and self-injurious behavior.

  • Calling this artcile "Autism: Just another excuse to be a pothead" degrades medical marijuana users and adults who have lived their lives under the autism spectrum. I don't think that anyone who smokes/eats pot for "actual medical reason", pain, nausea or any reason, should be called a pothead. I work with autistic children and finding ANYTHING that could possibly give more concertration, numb agression and self injurious behavior, slow stemming or ticks, and intice indiviuals to try new food and experiences would be welcome research. Autism is not a childhood diease, there is no quick fix for ASD adults when they turn 18. Any Adult who makes the decision to control their own bodies with alternative treatment should not be looked down upon.

    Are you mocking the handicapped?

    What do you have against the use of cannabis in any situation?
    Who are you to judge or criticize?

    I bet you are a (or have been) cigarette smoker.
    That kills 500,000 a year and is more addictive than heroin.

    I bet you are a (or have been) Drinker.
    Alcohol kills 100,000 a year and is addictive.

    Cannabis kills NOBODY.
    Not a single death has EVER been attributed to cannabis use or overdose.
    Cannabis is NOT physically addictive.


    Use your own mind, stop spewing hate and propaganda garbage about.

    Quit being ignorant and do some freaking research.

    I call you ignorant because you obviously have a computer and are able to use it....
    Yet you refuse to educate yourself by actually reading up on the subject.

    Ahhhhh screw it, I grow tired of teaching pigs to sing...
