Filmed in stunning high-contrast monochrome, Control tells the story of Ian Curtis and Joy Division. Director Anton Corbijn beautifully recreates the music, bleakness, and raw energy of the early days of Factory Records. I always had a soft spot for Joy Division but this film made me fall madly in love with the band again. Don't rent this movie. Buy it.
