Hillary Clinton is "absolutely" not prepared to admit Barack Obama has beaten her in the race for the Democratic nomination for president, Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told CNN Tuesday.
The comments came minutes after the Associated Press reported Clinton is preparing to concede the delegate race Tuesday night as the five-month Democratic primary process comes to a close.
McAuliffe called that report "100 percent" incorrect.
Obama "doesn't have the numbers today, and until someone has the numbers the race goes on," he also told CNN.
As of Monday night, Obama led Clinton among the delegates who formally nominate the party's candidate, with 2,076 to 1,917. A candidate needs 2,118 delegates to clinch the nomination. There are 31 delegates at stake in Montana and South Dakota, plus nearly 200 superdelegates who have yet to declare who they support.

I don't care what she's "prepared" to do, someone please show that woman the door.

Lol, eldamon! You'll have to drag her out kicking and screaming you... sexist!

I know, it's horrible - we're only picking on her cause she's a girl. Never mind the lies, confused statements, missing tax returns and many home states and cities. It's pretty much her lack of a penis that's caused all her grief.

I don't trust either one. Hillary has lied to the public, just like her husband and Obama only knows how to talk the talk. I can promise you one thing though. Obama will raise taxes to cover all of his proposed changes that he has plans for. The corporations will be taxed so heavily that all prices of goods and services will go up because of it. Employees will not be given raises because companies will not be able to afford the extra cost and people will loose jobs. If you don't believe me, look at Michigan. A Democrat, Granholm, thought that increasing taxes on companies will help the general good of society. What really happened is that the companies went out of business and people lost their jobs. Unemployment is skyrocketing and Michigan is running a $350 million deficit.

In response to w106rll, those problems were not caused directly by a democrat. Thank Bush, it is his war and his inability to (think on a very basic level) critically or intellectually and assess his country's economy that has us in the situation were in. Lower level representatives like Granholm can only act with the situation they have in front of them. Given the choice between two extremes, one can only choose an extreme.
As for Hillary, she needs to drop out of the race. If she really cared about the party and the American people as much as she claims she does she would admit that her staying in the campaign is only damaging the party's strength. While she continues this stubborn denial of reality McCain is fund raising and preparing to defeat whatever candidate wins the nomination. Shes a very intelligent woman, with good leadership qualities but in this case its time for her to take a walk. I wish the Show Time at the Apollo guy would step in and dance her off the stage. -
w106rll,
I'm going out on a limb and guessing you're not a staunch Democrat? The old "tax and spend" argument have been a part of the Republican lexicon for decades. It was the basis of Regan's "trickle down economics" which George Sr called "voo-doo" economics. The theory behind giving the rich more money so they'll spend more and it will e v e n t u a l l y get to the masses is simply arcane and placating. They don't really care if it trickles down or ends up in some elitist edge fund, it's all good to them.
