Jason Rae is a 21 year old Super Delegate and college freshman. In this pod, vc2 producer Kelsi Stoehr, goes home with Jason to Rice Lake, WI (pop. 8400) to find out how he became on of 793 Super Delegates that will be voting at the 2008 Democratic Nation Convention.

  • I love this. In a year when so many young voters have become registered and involved, it is heartening to meet one of those people and know that a lifelong commitment to change and involvement has begun. Nice storytelling, too!

  • I love this pod, because it's nice to see such a young person have such a say in the elections. You don't see that a lot, and I think a lot of young people don't vote because they think their vote doesn't count, when it does. I think this is a perfect example that young people's votes do count.
