United States Space Command Vision for 2020

Vision for 2020, a document published by the U.S. Space Command, is the plan for United States' domination of the Earth from space. The first page calls for, "dominating the space dimension of military operations to protect US interests and investment." When you read the document, you will find such phrases as, "full spectrum dominance;" "control of space is the ability to assure access to space…and an ability to deny others the use of space, if required."

Compare the above to the Outer Space Treaty [Declaration of Legal Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space], which can be read on the United Nations site.

    That's presuming of course that we'll still be around in 2020 and the world won't come to an end on December 21st, 2012.

  • I'm not so sure the Mayans where predicting a jado-christian apocalypse. Could it be 'our World' is more our perception of life; unsustainable economic and technological systems for example.

  • Indeed,...the morons will destroy themselves through their greed and stupidity while the rest of us focus on empowering ourselves and each other by celebrating the diversity of the world (among other things)

    by doing so break we will out of these authoritarian BS control systems and figure out how to create Shambala right here....the pendulum is swinging back...the power control freaks are fearful because they will loose control...

    It already isn't pretty though--we are going through the 12th hell to get there....

  • Sorry UN, space wars are pretty much inevitable. Even I would have to support an orbital ballistic missile defense system, so long as it doesn't have the capability to hit anything down here.

  • This is so true, just look at what they announced not to long ago, that they created a laser capable of shooting a beam of energy from space to earth with pin point accuracy; a beam that burns at over a million degrees.

    It was on Current not to long ago. I would say about a month ago or so.

    Once they have this weapon in space, there will be no more need for missiles or bombers, they can zap anything they want from space; anything and only people deep under ground could perhaps escape the wrath of such a weapon.

  • One final thing I wanted to say about the 2012 date.

    The Mayans were predicting the return of Quetzalquatal.

    He was one of their Gods who came from space. He may be returning to harvest the earth of human flesh; to eat.

    We have reproduced rather nicely, 6 billion head of cattle would be a fine harvest for a starving planet of elite aliens.

    The only reason I am saying this is that there are many interpretations of the 2012 date and this is one I find very interesting. Not sure if I believe it at all, but it sure would make a heck of a motion picture.
