Once again pot is to blame for someone else's incompetence, never mind the alcohol that was also in his system, that's legal right? And has never been responsible for anyone's stupidity or death. Moral of the story? Go to the zoo high on pot and they'll release the tigers on you.

Who knew four feet would be the decider of life or death.

lol. sorry but I had to laugh at this.
thanks ;)
I remember when I was in Spain, I was in the park with some friends and a police man came up asking us if we had pot. Of course we said no. He walked to the next dude and the dude had some.
The policeman didn't arrest him. nope. He smoked pot with him.
I thought that was funny. I love Europe. -
wow, what a story!!! they forgot to mention that the girl might also have had a pimple on her skin ;)
bravo to this sensational and so competent piece of journalism! -
HIGH? No, stupid!
-
Sure, blame marijuana. Everyone else does.
Never mind the fact that the kid was taunting a caged wild animal and throwing things at it.-

I've seen drunk and stoned people do allot of stupid things, but this takes the cake, probably not a good idea to do any sort of drugs before you go around potentially deadly animals.

I smoke some ganj before anything I do to make it more enjoyable. That includes going to the zoo. I love to see the animals when my mind is open, because I notice the sweetest things when I'm baked. For instance, recently on a trip to the zoo, I was so high I noticed that two flamingos were scratching each other using their beaks and for a moment it looked like they were kissing. It was sooo adorable. Had I been sober, I would have said, "It smells like fucking shit here, can we go to another exhibit." I always take in nature to the fullest after consummating my relationship with nature by smoking some of her best herb.

Yeah, blame the drunk pothead for the Zoo's failure of containing their animals.

Since this guy is from my neighborhood there has been a lot of focus on the story, and the whole time the parents were claiming they were not doing anything wrong. Then they found a bunch of alcohol, and they said well they weren't drunk. Then they found evidence that they were throwing things at the tigers, and the parents blamed the zoo for it being possible for a zoo patron to harass an animal. Now they find pot in the system.
I'm not saying pot is to blame for all this. Both parties are at fault. The zoo needs to go back and check out their habitats so that they are not only protecting the patrons from the animal as well as the animals from the patrons. I'm just tired of hearing that this was entirely the Zoo or the person's fault. He went to the zoo all f'd up and was pretty much being an ass. I don't care how drunk I am... I know that if you throw things at a tiger you are pretty much opening the door for something bad to happen. it's unfortunate that it meant his life, but hopefully this will be a wake up call to other people who have done or thought of doing such things.-
