Five Wounds / Brookwood Terrace Broadcast Unit is a result of a collaboration between bulbo, the S.T.A.N.D., CommUniverCity and S.N.I. programs of the City of San Jose; and FUSE:collaboration (the FUSE:_cadre/montalvo artist research residency from SJSU), in conjunction with the 2nd Biennial 01SJ Global Festival of Art on the Edge.

Hmm, living in San Jose, I havn't really seen much gang related violence and problems. Most gang related problems that I hear about deal with the vietnamese population of SJ, but even that is not very big. I also work in probably the highest hispanic populous area of SJ and have yet to see gang related problems, but it could also be because of a strong presence of police patrolling the area, as well as city development that has been turning the area much nicer.
