WITH THE PROBABLE DEMOCRATE BARACK OBAMA NOW OVER THE HUMP, SOME BLACKS NOW ALL OVER THE WORLD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SINCE OF PRIDE AND HOPE WITH THEIR CHANCES OF MAKING IT TO SUCCESS.
IN MY ESTIMATION, THIS HAS TO BE ONE THE THE BIGGEST UPSETS WITHIN RECENT HISTORY. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, A BLACK MAN, OF AFRICAN-AMERICAN DECENT WILL BE REPRESENTNG A PARTY FOR THE POSITION OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. FOLKS, THIS IS SAYING SOMETHING, THIS IS SAYING THAT MAYBE, JUST MAYBE WE HAVE CLIMBED A FEW INCHES. HAVE FINALLY CROSSED THAT VIRTUAL HURDLE THAT HAS KEPT US DOWN FOR MOST OF OUT HABITUAL LIFETIMES. YOU'D HAVE TO THINK THAT MAYBE THIS TIME THE MINORITY GETS THEIRS, THAT THIS TIME WE AS BLACK PEOPLE CAN SETBACK AND SAY, HEY WE'VE DONE IT. WE'VE REACHED TO OUT PLATEAU OF CAN AND NOT CAN'T, AND TO DONE AND TO DON'T. IGNORING THE ECHOES OF COULD NOT HAVE DONE, AND CANNOT DO. IT IS A NEW IN IN AMERICA, A BRAND NEW DAY WHEN AN AFRICAN AMERICAN SENATOR NAMED BARACK OBAMA CAN BE ELECTED PRESIDENT. CONGRADULATIONS MR. OBAMA, DO US ALL (WHITE, BLACK, PURPLE, AND BROWN) WITHIN YOUR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

it's time to get beyond the racial barrier and accept everyone as simply human. There is no need for the separation or the obvious point that "we've done it".....yes...we all have...all the humans of the world have aided in this happening. It is not a simply black thing, to see it at only that perspective -a victory valued more in one race than the other- is the root of the very same thought process that keeps the world at war. None of us are seperate. We are one. The state of the world depends on this realization and acceptance.

I wonder if the Republicans are shouting from the rooftops now. Let's face facts, who do you think the American public would rather see in office? Obama or McCain? The USA is racist to the core and I for one can't see Barack being elected. I hope I am wrong for he is obviously the best man for the job. Good luck with that anyway. (I am in UK)

Apparently black people are the racist ones (nowadays?)....so i hear anyway. I like that many people have been challenged to look, erm, at race i guess and to erm, ideas and stuff about it. Things like that. He is an equal mixture of both races, but there was a time when i was observant of him being the first black man this and black that, obviously perception being black ain't shit and could never amount to this position . haha, well. i like whats happened here and look forwad to the future. oh yeah, many people have never looked at race deeply so i hope that happens a little more....aaaaaandddd...."we are one" isn't the kind of realization i for one have had recently. i didn't wake up and see that. but joy yes. lets all shoot hoops. Obama got game on the court, yo!
