  • Simply consider that the Israeli spy network is the best in the world. They have the nukes and they have their enemies, but they also have many relatives living in the U.S. and our man needs those votes, etc., etc. For the U.S. not to have israel as an ally, especially in that region of the world, would be political suicide for whoever is our president, but that doesn't mean we have to let them run all over us. What we need in this country, is a leader with a backbone and intuitive ways of dealing with difficult situations diplomatically, not trying every which way to start a war with Iran...

  • We need to keep in mind the difference between the people, their religion, and their government.

    It is my impression that the people who are critical of Israel or AIPAC, they are critical of the government and foreign policy and not the people and their religion.

    But are some of you saying that one cannot separate the government from the religion?

    Our government and the government of Israel are pursuing selfish interests and there is a greater agenda here. They are coopting people's religions and using them to start wars and to keep wars going. They malign and slander the Muslims as they placate the right wing factions of Christianity and Judaism; and yet they award contracts to terrorists and keep nations that produce terrorists as staunch allies.

    Need I remind everyone that the majority of the 9.11 hijackers that were part of the official story were actually Saudi citizens.

    I agree with Touchart very much here in that we all need to be agents for peace. We can together encourage and transmit peace to others, this has been proven through scientific research. We need to be careful not be caught in the trap of dialectics and dichotomies; this is the way the "esoteric agenda" is played out and how it robs us of our personal power.

    Let us continue to be critical, but let us also be loving, too.
