  • For someone who wants/needs to distinguish himself from President Bush, this is not helping his case...

  • BWAHAHA!!!!! It's so hilarious to watch McCain trying so desperately to cozy up to the Far Right -- but, of course, only digging himself into a deeper hole for the General Election, when he'll have to explain his way to a more moderate position.... LOL

  • I highly recommend everyone who wants to follow this issue to keep an eye on Glenn Greenwald's blog. I've been following him since the NSA warrantless wiretapping scandal broke in December of 2005, and he's since become my most essential resource in following the excesses of Bush's "unitary executive".

  • And why would you want to vote for that guy? Just too much Republican pride or what? Either that his supporters are really brainwashed.

  • Well there is that 18% of Americans who believe that G.W. is a good president. There is the other group of people who will never vote for a democrat regardless of the nominee. there is the Clinton supporters who will vote for mcain just to prove a point .(not that I'm against them but you would screw your party and her because she didn't get the nomination.screw what happens she "lost" and therefore screw obama.. forgetting the repercussions of that choice) and look at where majority of Americans get their information from. an ill-informed public cannot make a wise choice for leadership. there is also the notion of a minority ruling the "free world" is daunting to many still. and of course the people who genuinely believe that Mcain is the right man for this country. So yeah i think Mcain has a pretty good shot of winning this one.

Big John McCain will continue to sail the on Path to democracy in the middle east and guide america on the path to victory. "Arrah matie! " Seriously though, Osamabama will bring the wrath of god upon our shores by islamisists because of legalizing gay marrage and not stopping aborshion, not stopping islam. • All politicians pander. McCain does it, and Obama just did it with his speech to AIPAC. And they have all done it regarding the coal and nuclear industry. It seems to be the way of politics to pander to those groups you think will give you the votes you need to "win" since winning in politics is more important than principle.

  • This is completely unsurprising and shows the politicking that McW is capable of.
