He used a A Sinclair ZX Spectrum 8-bit PC for rhythm and lead, a HP Scanjet 3c for bass, an Epson LX-81 Dot Matrix Printer for drums, and a mish mash of old hard drives to distort the vocal line through.
Give the video a chance and I think you'll be impressed...

This is helllllla cool, though.

It looks like it was shot on actual film. There are great digital FX filters around these days though.
