At the AIPAC conference Barack Obama shows that on foreign policy he has moved closer to McCain and Bush.
In Part 1 of his commentary, The Real News Network Senior News Analyst Aijaz Ahmad tells us that when Senator Barack Obama finished his speech at the AIPAC policy conference in Washington DC, he got an applause more thunderous than there had been for McCain on the first day . Obama has come along way from the days when Karl Rove called him a man of the far left. He no longer speaks of the "tragic plight of the Palestinians" and adds that postponing elections would have been the best way to deal with Hamas as they were sure to win a majority in free elections.

THANK YOU!
This is real news. -
Thanks for the post, Vierotchka. Very interesting commentary. I think that Mr. Ahmad makes a good point when comparing Sen. Obama's statements to the logic of President Carter.
Here's a link to an Al Jazeera article on Arab outrage at Obama's Aipac speech. -

I know it is hard for you all to understand but it is true.
Obama is an elitist.
As a white male that is tired of racism and bigotry I am proud to see a part black Muslim man get this far in a presidential election but he is still what most people call the lesser of two Evils and not by much.
To fund thirty billion dollars over ten years to fund a "Holy War" is not right and not truly American.
I wish more people sought truth about what is really going on in Washington and did not believe all the lip service. -
A true American Patriot that was overlooked by the Media Matrix.
google Ron Paul and watch a video or two and you will see why. He doesn't have a weakness. -
Knew this back in 01 2008. Thats why i was working for Kucinich's campaign. Obama has so many things wrong with his voting record its scary. His health care plan is nearly idiotic for our economy. And now he has jumped on the Iran bandwagon. Great.... I'm voting Ron Paul.
-
i'm hoping obama is just blowing smoke up their arses a la bush...i think ron paul is awesome but we have to be realistic about who we can get into office...at this point it's the best we can do and anything is better than what the republicans have to offer...
-
Why is he an elitist? Because fox news says so. And he is not Muslim as if thats a bad thing.
