  • Our Earth is the only earth we have. Regardless of political standpoint or agenda, regardless of pride or fear, regardless of the amount of money in our bank accounts; we can all do something. I always believe that if you are going to change something, you can't where all your pins to the forum, or don't where the I hate the republicans pin right next to Save the World pin. This video does a bad job of mixing politics with what it is you want to change. However, the pictures are everything. The life of a tree, to the death of a flower, there is a certain cycle that we as humans are tipping towards our side of the table. We as a species aren't exactly accommodating to the rest of the worlds animals, and I don't think we much care.

    Change that point of view, care.

  • American Idol votes with a phone call. Why can't Americans vote in with a phone call? The big eavesdropping, lying, thieving communications companies can account for every call and verify the veracity of such. This would bring out a 90% turnout. And save lots of money with physical polls. Then again, watch out. Can't the president suspend all elections in a national emergency..like a war with a country? Maybe thats the reason they are intimidating Iran!!! Then Americans (and the world) would be stuck with an idiot thats bent on destroying the world.

    I won't hold the past against you - but it answered my question as to your choice of username.

    Interesting video - nice music - intriguing images.

    While we live in the greatest country for freedom etc - I agree the system is not good when the Electoral College can put someone in as president even tho they did not win the popular vote. It has happened several times.

    I am sure there is a reason the founding fathers chose this (not to allow power in any one state) - but it has its flaws.

    I presume the second Richard in White House aka "Dick" you mean is V.P. Cheney.

    Keep fighting the good fight.

    We all need to wake up before Mother Nature or God (or the heavenly powers that be - whom we can not see) decides it's time to start over.

    Life is fragile - we could be gone in an instant from meteorite or war.

    Humans are capable of great things - yet equally capable of horrors (like Hilter and corporate pollutors to name a few).

  • I did a thing .... I had a daughter. T'was 1991 and the first shrub was POTUS. And we were implementing "Operation Desert Storm" ... bleck.

    Fast forward: we're currently occupying (it's NOT A WAR!) a country who posed no threat to us.

    Rediculous doesn't even come close.

    Back to my original thought: I had a daughter, and I raised her to be A Progressive. Much as me mum did for me. I am proud for that.

    I'm hoping President Obama will help cure our ills.
