Vincent Bugliosi wants President Bush charged with murder. He argues that Bush misled the nation into a war that has killed more than 4,000 Americans.

I have to say I agree to an extent. Yes, he did if fact lead us to war on false pretenses, but instead of charging him with murder we should just have him impeached.
-
Almost 700 ,000 Iraqis have died since the American-led invasion of 2003.
Bush is responsible this time, I say this time because it will happen again ! -

I hope he and his buddy are jailed for life.

I believe there definitely should be a round-up of all the misleading figures in Washington, Bush himself seems more like a deranged conspirator than the actual mastermind. Then again who knows the hard truth.
Anyways, the power struggle / vacuum landscape (hyper-partisanship) in the capital is too weak to ever be able to pull of the type of investigation required. Plus, the added consideration of "damage control" - Does this type of action hurt or help America's image (domestic and foreign), the prestige of the presidency, etc...
What may be more worthwhile is lighting a fire under the investigation journalist's butt. Stop dwelling on the same crappy news stories or the most recent tragedies all day, and start using the "freedom of the press."
Gas prices are high... we get it, use the rest of your time giving us news not exasperating the obvious. -
Correction Purdey. 1.2 million Iraqis have died since 2003.
chriswt,
If he's responsible for millions of death under the pretense of lying, why shouldn't he be charged with murder ? He lied and had millions of people killed. Get it ?-

Yes, it's called treason and since there is unrefutable evidence . Let's try to move it along people.!!!
-
i would love nothing more than to have bush/cheney locked up for life, but we know that will never happen. they dont even have the balls to impeach him
-
i personally think that if we can vote for our leaders who will decide the future and well being of our country why cant the people vote for war

I have no remorse if this monster and his friends were punished by death. He has destroyed millions of human lives Our planet may have suffered irreversible damage. The reputation of our country is shot to hell.
Enough! Why is he in office still?-

Bush is responsible for the deaths of more Americans than Bin Laden is.
I totally agree, bring Bush to trial for murder. -
Contact your Senator! Blogging is great but I doubt Kay Bailey Hutchison is reading along with us.
Now email the link above to everyone you know if your serious about stopping the censorship bill, impeaching Bush or the environment...and tell them you are a registered and regular voter.
My experience says they really just want to know which way you swing on a particular issue. If you have a point to make in your appeal, make it quick and remind them that you will not support anyone who votes for the furtherance of Bush's policies. -
It'll never happen but it sure is something nice to think about....Bush being held responsible for the Iraq insanity! I still say nuke 'em then send a shitload of inmates with jackhammers over there, bust it up into little chunks and sell it on E-Bay!

Hey, it's a better idea than impeachment! Prosecute him!

Impeachment would take too long and be moot anyway since he's done after January. I'm all for prosecution but let's not forget his cohorts! They're just as responsible. Bottom line is, it's BUSH where the buck stops (in his pocket no doubt) so I say go for it!

In regards to what Purdey said, yes, it is only 'this time'.
Unfortunately, we can not stop an over-confident government. The attacks on Muslims cannot really end because of their beliefs. I've been hearing alot of 'convert or die' from the extremist ones. The government takes those people as how all muslims are, and fear a national security threat.
... i mean, its' understandable what their doing, but the existance of muslims can't be peaceful as long as there are other religions, because almost all religions require themselves to be the only one around.-

patio_patty,
Anybody with your kind of hate is just as bad or possibly worst than George Bush. You hate Iraqis for namesake.I wonder who else you hate ? Furthuremore, I wonder why people who want see Bush punished, can read your messages from hell, and don't say anything to you about them ? George Bush has made your wishes come true.
I think that I'll got out and recruit some American Iraqis to join current.com, so we can start getting some balance in our blogging........nuke'em, jackhammer'em and sell'em on ebay. That's an All Time worst.-

according to international law, along with American law, I am sure their are several law Bush has broken and should be held accountable for.
-
anybody know why they just took this story off the front page immediatly. it was there and then it was gone.
-
I knew the daughter of this Author Bugliosi back in the 1970's & 1980's. She had a lot of problems because her father didn't give her the attention she wanted growing up. Her father was obsessed with convicting Manson.
-
Impeachment would be the same thing as a conviction.
-
Considering the scale of the issue would or should a War Crimes Tribunal not be more appropriate? I say try him in Iraq where the people would get the justice they want.

You are obviously intelligence impaired and it would be too easy to ridicule you so I shall refrain. I would however like to know why US troops being in Iraq keeps your country free? A reasoned arguement please and any references to WMD's will forfeit your right not to be ridiculed.

The controversy over waterboarding has bombarded U.S news for almost a year. In the U.K the debate is just about to peak.
Was this something the Bush admin. should have ditched long ago?-

When bush began his "reign of terror" wasnt it in our faces that he was no good.I know we the people saw that but the bigger heads? why didnt they see what we saw...and why did they choose to ignore it?
