Who’s responsible for the “intelligence failure” that plunged the U.S. into the Iraq War? As much as anyone else, that distinction is shared by two Americans who discovered and nurtured Ahmad Chalabi and “Curveball”, and pushed their fortunes in Washington.
One of those men is currently the presumptive Republican candidate for President of the United States, and the other is his chief political fixer.

Why isn't there a more critical eye on the political record and poor judgement of this fellow?

Hopefully, as soon as the campaign begins between Obama and McCain, we will begin to hear and see the real McCain.

no wonder americas education is going down the hole -
Our president ask the congress for the authority to go punish the people who did the twin towers. The commander in chief read the intel reports with all the academic prowess he could muster, and started shipping men and planes to the middle east.
I question the congress in granting him permission to do whatever he felt needed to be done. Isn't there some other way we can handle this concept other then to tell one man he has the authority to do whatever he wants to do? -
i guess we have freedom of religion unless its islam

What if spend our time and efforts supporting our candidate, building him up instead of tearing the other one down. There's a little more to this change thing than just a campaign slogan.
-
Holy shit. sounds like he would be the next Bush.

McCain is why so many Republicans are upset.
He is their party's only real choice.
I've heard plenty of them say that they'd jump ship over voting for him.
Who can blame them for feeling deceived?
McCain is a deceiver. -
vote for mccain? How about arrest and prosecute and imprison mccain!

My word. It didn't take long to assign the bame to McCain.
Hussein voted some 130 times "present" while in the senate rather than take a stand on an issue.
Some things Dems have said on Saddams' WMD:
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Irag's weapon of mass destruction program" - Pres. Clinton. Feb. 17, 1998
"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983". - Sandy Berger, National Security Advisor. Feb. 18, 1998
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which has been a threat to countries
in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons of mass destruction process". Nancy Pelosi, Dec. 16, 1998
"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country". Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
" We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is using and developing weapons of mass destruction". Ted Kennedy, Sept 27, 2002
"Hussein has ...chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." Madalene Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999
The "intelligence failures" and who is responsible could be debated forever. Our elected representatives are responsible for the failures within the intel community be they Dem or Republican. Changing initials behind the name of whoever is in the White House will not cure the problem.
Hussein Obama is a communist candidate who will do more damage to this country than has been done under Clinton or Bush. -
Wow is all i have to say about that last comment.
