  • I was really happy to see that one of my local grocery stores started selling (literally) green canvas bags. Next time I'm up there I'll get more info on the supplier. It would be great if we could convince more stores to do the same, as it would bump up the convenience factor for people who might not think of this stuff until it's right in front of their faces.

  • Yes! They now have them at my local grocery and they're only $.99 each. Add a few to your grocery total, put your groceries in and you're set. So glad so see this.

  • It's nice to see suggestions to help out the planet rather than just ranting about changes that need to be made without the suggestion

    response:

LEDs are very good, but still very expensive.

Everyone who can, should switch to them.

If you opt for CFL ("energy bulbs") PLEASE recycle them. They are great, but contain mercury which can and WILL seep into the water table if thrown away into the garbage. Please pass it on! THANK YOU!

Thanks for the OP. It's past time we start living Green. I want so bad to be entirely off the grid.

  • BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT! No offense people, but when a leg is cut off, placing a band aid on it, will make you feel better, but will not help!

I'm talking about exponential population growth! #1 issue!
