James Kenneth McManus, better known as Jim McKay, has died at the age 86. The legendary sportscaster gained notoriety for hosting the Wide World of Sports which aired on ABC from 1961-1998. He also covered the Olympics and is well known for his coverage off the 1972 Summer Olympics and his reports on the "Munich massacre." For his work in sports McKay was awarded over twelve Emmy's and has been inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and the Television Hall of Fame.
