  • Your calls are weighted 30,000 to ONE!

That means, for every call you make, they assume that there are 30,000 other people that feel the same way but aren't active enough to place a call...

It's not just little old you, it's 30,000 little yous!

  • Ok, I called in and basically said..... can someone get this message through:

WHY NOT USE SOLAR POWER?? NO ONE NEEDS NUCLEAR POWER ANYMORE. IT'S OBSOLETE.

    nuclear reactor = 250 megawatts
    solar plant = 250 megawatts

    GET IT??

IF Electricity is TRULY what Iran and other countries seek for energy needs, then simply use SOLAR energy technology and supply your needs. Your country will also not be on the US hit list of countries who do not understand - we can not use nuclear energy world wide anymore for obvious reasons.

    Good Grief.

    Thank you for listening....

  • OMG, i just remembered something, what about nuclear waste????

NO COUNTRY SHOULD BE USING NUCLEAR REACTORS ANYMORE WHEN SOLAR CAN REPLACE IT, ESPECIALLY ANY COUNTRY JUST STARTING TO USE NUCLEAR PLANTS, THINK OF THE ISSUES FROM WASTE IF SAY 30% OF COUNTRIES ALL DECIDED TO USE NUKE PLANTS FOR ELECTRICITY. OMG AM I THE ONLY ONE REALIZING THIS NOW? I CANT BELIEVE I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT. I WAS LIKE SO CAUGHT UP ON OTHER THINGS AND DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT A DISASTER THIS WILL BE IF WE LET IRAN DO THIS, AND DO NOT SUGGEST THEY USE SOLAR. THEY ARE A DESERT, THEY HAVE LOTS OF SPACE FOR IT.

Imagine, the deserts saving the earth... what a concept. :)

  • You know onechance, I believe the peoples of the US, Iran and the Middle East have an interest in peace and stability, but it would seem others have an interest in a policy of destabilizaiton...stated or not, there are those who profit from unstable political environments...

That said, I believe diplomacy is needed beyond the ability of the current administration.

  • I believe guys a bit too late, cannot stop war as easy, now that US created by invading Iraq a disastrous civil war, leaving now would just release more massacres

If only US been listening instead of treating old friends as traitors, old europe and co it wouldn't be that bloody mess!

  • Iran has a right to supply energy with nuclear power but it needs to abide by laws and not use it for weapons...any country should have this right. Coal and oil is not only destroying our environment, but it is becoming very expensive as well. Countries using nuke energy will need total transparency and will be ensured of the help from the USA to make sure there is no Chernobyl. I agree, no war with Iran, use total diplomacy. I agree also Iran should supplement with solar and mybe become a forerunner in this area.
