You're poor, you need money, you're starving and you have health problems. In this situation, you would do anything to survive. Honestly you can't prove me wrong unless you live through that situation.

Yes, it's wrong and horrible, but these people are dying and they did something unspeakable to stave it off for a while.

People all over that country are in the same situation and not all of them are willing to kill someone else for a lucky potion to be made out of a human beings parts!! We are not talking food in the Albino situation. And as far as the pygmy situation that was a choice, moving to another area also a choice, trying to find an alternative type of food, etc.
As someone who spent part of thier childhood homeless and alone on the streets, digging through trash to find food, I KNOW that to kill someone else no matter how hungry you are is wrong! And only an evil person would do such a thing, even when under societal pressures that something is acceptable it is not everyone who loses morals and goes to a point of being able to do such horrific things to another person! Ever freaking heard of salad!!! OR Fruit! No Excuse!!
I believe that morals are within all of us and those that ignore such simple instincts are no better than vicious dogs and yes I include George W Buh in with them!
I did not mean to insult you, it seemed that you were using a cultural relativism argument to in some way justify the behavior, I realize now that you were simply trying to enlighten others to the horrors that exist in the world, and I applaud the effort to get others to think about the big picture and to realize the points that need to be taken into account, such as how people in other nations need food supplies and training and equipment to stop famines. You should post about the pygmys on the article about genetic modified foods in Africa, at least they wouldn't be eating people then.

Ummm... every body part you named HAS a purpose. Whether we have discovered them or not, they do have a purpose in our human bodies. There is no proof that these parts "evolved" from some ape (or whatever the heck you imaginists believe...)
Creationism has never been disproven. It is a faith, but then again, so is evolution. Have you witnessed evolution? Or do you say "It occurs over billions and zillions of years"? Has it ever been recorded? No...
Creationism makes more sense than your evolution THEORY. So you stick with your beliefs, and we (Creationists) will stick with ours, and one day, we'll see who's right. Unless of course, evolution is true.... and there was no point of living, our lives had no impact in the universe, our "being" fades to nothing, and we continue in a cycle of meaningless improvement on our lives... But what if all that is wrong?

Creationism in the literary sense of God created the world in seven days with every living plant and animal to coexist in the world at the same time has been disproven. Also, though we are not able to observe evolution on a normal or macro scale because it takes many many generations, we are able to observe changes due to fossil records. We are also able to view evolution on a micro scale. Take TB (tuberculosis). It is a disease which has strains that are extremely resistant, if not immune, to antibiotics. It became this way because TB flares up and then dies down, and then flares up and then dies down. That is the cycle of this lung inhabiting disease. As a result people would often take their antibiotics until the disease died down and they felt better. Then they would stop. The disease would still there, but the sick people would stop taking the medication. So some of the bacteria would die, and the rest that survived did so because it had a higher tolerance for the antibiotics. So the next generation of TB bacteria have a higher tolerance overall than the last generation. Continue this trend over a long period of time and the theory of evolution produces a strain of TB that is resistant or immune to antibiotics. Which is why we now have strains of TB that are just that.

I am with you on this mrpibb, I am a creationist too and these people refuse to understand that Darwin recantd o his death bed and so did Froid! They are still lost and seeking and one day God will open thier eyes, until then they will speak as children imagining up things. Carbon dating has been disproved and uranium dating is not 100%, but I digress. The fossils they speak so fondly of are from the flood where Noah was, otherwise other animals would have eaten the dead dinos, etc. The logic of evolution is simply that there is none and it is a religion, a faith! It is simply someone who is lost refusing to acknowledge that they don't know it all and didn't make it all! All we can do is pray for those people.

First, how in the hell has carbon dating been disproven? Carbon dating is not precise to the year, but it gets fairly close. Carbon dating is taking a measurement of a carbon isotope that organic tissues create. Nearly all organic tissues produce the same amount of the carbon isotope so all a scientist needs to do is know the rate of decay for the isotope and measure how much of the isotope is left.

Second, you can't date with uranium because a biological body does not produce a uranium isotope. All uranium does is decompose slowly into a lighter element from the time the actual element is created. And as said, that element is not created by a biological process, like all other elements that are heavier than hydrogen, uranium was created by the fusion reaction that powers stars. More specifically, uranium is created in the moments of extreme conditions when a star goes nova.

Third, you speak of your religion but there is something you fail to either see or acknowledge about all religions. All mainstream religions say that their god is THE god, and all of these religions (with the exception of Buhddism) preach that if you don't believe in that religions god then you are damned to hell. So really, according to all major religions (except the one you practice) say that you are going to hell.

Fourth, it was cute, if not pathetic, how rather than directly combat my inquiry you avoided the subject and instead fed me some religious bullshit about the flooding times of Noah were the origin of fossils because if they weren't the other animals would have eaten the fossils. I have to ask, do you even know how fossils are made? Also, have you never seen a skeleton of a deceased animal in the woods? Once the scavengers pick the body clean, not many creatures go for the bleached white bones. And even when other animals go for the bones, the most they usually do is scatter the bones a small distance. That would explain why many of the fossil skeletons that are found are scattered. The "whole" skeletons that are commonly advertised are a very rare thing, and that is why you hear about findings of a complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton. Not because its common, but because it is very very rare. If the dinosaurs just died because of the Noah flood and as a result their skeletons became fossils, one would think that we would find a lot more complete fossil sets.

Damn, this is what irritates me about religion. Its when people look not their holy book as a source for moral teachings, but as a source of explaining the physical world when it clearly contradicts what physical science proves. I suppose you also think that Galileo was wrong and that the sun does orbit the earth as many of the religions taught in the days of the dark and middle ages...
