sadly i couldnt find this story on the bbc or other uk news sites it may be hidden or just not reported..

Anti-Bush demonstration banned from Whitehall.

The Stop the War Coalition has been informed by the Metropolitan Police that a proposed march, co-organised with CND and the British Muslim Initiative, to protest George Bush's visit will not be allowed.

It seems that when George W Bush visits this country traditional rights of assembly are to be removed from the people. This would be unacceptable for the visit of any foreign leader, but for George Bush, a man many regard as a war criminal, it is particularly deplorable.

    They're going to show up anyway, and people are going to get hurt. People wouldn't get hurt if you let them say what they want. The gov wants to hurt people who say what they want. Hmm. Somebody who has a camera and lives in the area, I'd like video of this when it happens.
